The 2018 American Rescue Dog Show invites you to help save lives through adoption of shelter pets. This competition includes mixed breed and pure breed rescue dogs competing in a variety of cute categories, all with the goal of ending pet homelessness.

The preeminent dog competition featuring rescued companions as they strut their fluff, competing for a slew of “best in” titles while stealing America’s hearts. A $10,000 donation to a local animal welfare organization will be made in honor of the winning dog in each category, and each category winner will have the chance to be named the Best In Rescue.

The National Dog Show is a conformation show sanctioned by the American Kennel Club. The National Dog Show has been ongoing since 2002. The show is held by The Kennel Club of Philadelphia a founding club of AKC, the Kennel Club of Philadelphia. It traditionally takes place on the third from last weekend in November over two days. The NDS's motto: Dog before master.The National Dog Show is one of the three major dog shows in the United States, along with the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship and the Westminster Dog Show.
